I have gathered a small collection of PC's from the late 70's and early 80's representing the days when personal computing was born. They came from a variety of sources, and each has it's own unique story to tell
Apple, Commodore, Tandy, IBM and more are represented here, and they all work as expected. I've carefully repaired/restored each and have scoured the inter-webs for interesting and unique software offerings on them, and it's a treasure to see them all running on the wall behind me.
Originally, these were intended to add some interest to the background in my many, many zoom meetings, but it had a much greater impact than I anticipated! It's very cool to see the reaction on the faces of my meeting attendees when they see all this history!
Now, I often load them up into my pickup, and travel to various Vintage Computer shows and expos and set them up for people to interact with. It is great fun to watch the wonder and recognition cross so many peoples eyes when they see somethign working from so long ago that they can actually touch and work with!
