Servers and Destinations:
Servers are the actual API endpoints. You must have 2 Servers defined before running any test, test case or workflow. The system will execute all such tests against both servers and compare the results, noting any discrepancy. When defining a server, you need to know the server location (it's IP address or DNS Name), the Port the server is running on (usually 8080) and the type of server it is (a CS or PRO server). You can name each server anything you wish, to help identify it. To Create a server, choose "Servers" then "Setup" or "Edit". When choosing Edit, the dropdown list will contain a list of all the servers that have been defined. Simply select the desired server and then edit as desired and click "Update" to save your work. When clicking Setup, the form will be blank. Enter in the required information and click "Save" to save your work.
Creating Tests:
Tests are the individual work units in a Case or Workflow. A test is a single call to the API to perform a single action, such as get a song list, or publish a schedule. Any valid API method call can be a test, but a test can only contain a single Method. To create a test, choose "tests" then choose either "Setup" or "Edit" test. When choosing "Edit", the drop-down list contains all the tests you've defined in Name Order. Simply select one of them to edit it and click Update to save it. When adding a new test the Name and Test Method fields are blank and need to be filled in, before you can click "Save" to save your work.
